If you interact with the plugin, for example by hitting the “like” button or by making a comment, your browser will directly send the information to Facebook where it will also be saved. With regard to the purpose and the extent of the data collection

Our website offers a newsletter in which we inform about current events and offers. If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter, you must enter a valid e-mail address and a name.

By subscribing to our newsletters you agree to receive information from us (for example in form of a newsletter), in line with this data security notice and all procedures described therein.
Our newsletter particularly covers information about our information report "Dragonfolio". Any subscription will be recorded in line with the so-called “Double-Opt-in” approach. By doing so, any subscriber will receive an e-mail as part of the subscription process, asking for additional confirmation of the subscription. This is required in order to protect your own interest, ensuring that your e-mail address is not used for the registration to our newsletter by anyone else but yourself. This is also in line with legal requirements regarding the burden of proof that this subscription process was adhered to. In this context the time of subscription, the time of confirmation, as well as the users IP address are saved. In addition, any amendment of user data will also be recorded.

For the distribution and processing of our newsletters, etc. we use the distribution platform “MailChimp”, run by the US provider The Rocket ScienceGroup, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA. As such, the e-mail addresses of our subscribers as well as other data listed herein will be stored on MailChimp servers located in the USA. MailChimp uses such data on our behalf for the distribution and the analysis of our newsletters. In addition, MailChimp may use the data in order to improve their own services. However, MailChimp will not use the data in order to contact our subscribers on their own behalf nor will MailChimp provide such data to any third party.

We consider the IT and data security of MailChimp to be sufficient. Furthermore, we consider MailChimp to be a trustworthy provider who is also certified under and agreed to comply with the rules of the US-EU-Data Protection Agreement “Privacy Shield”.

 

IX. Rights of the data subject


You can request confirmation about whether your personal data is being processed by us. You have the right to request information about whether your personal data is transmitted to a non-EU country or an international organization. In this context, you may request to be informed of the appropriate guarantees pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR in connection with the transmission.
